Festivals in Spain
Spain is not only sea, paella, and sangria, there are music events that you should not miss.
It is also worthwhile to travel to Madrid, which, in addition to being the capital, holds two of Europe's most magnificent festivals.
One is the Mad Cool Festival, which has been going on since 2016 but has become so well-known that it attracts an increasing number of visitors each year, particularly rock and roll fans.
In fact, the 2022 lineup includes: Metallica, The Killers, Muse, Kings of Leon, Twenty-one Pilots, Imagine Dragons, Faith No More, Pixies, Placebo, and many others.
Where and when: in Madrid, from 6 to 9 July 2022.
But, if this isn't enough for you, or if you're going somewhere else, there's always the Mad Cool Sunset, which will take place on September 10th in 2022. A fantastic celebration to cap off the summer.
Other prominent and well-known festivals in Spain include the Primavera Sound and Sonar Music in Barcelona, the Low Festival in Benidorm, and the Rototom Sunsplash in Benicassim.
Festivals in France
France may not be one of the most popular summer holiday locations, especially if you want to go to the beach, but it does hold some fantastic events.
The Lollapalooza Paris returns to Paris this year following a two-year break due to the epidemic. Because it attracts so many rock and pop performers, it has become a must-attend event on the city's calendar.

Festivals in Portugal
We now move to Portugal, a country brimming with opportunities.
NOS Alive is one of the greatest and most well-known musical festivals and takes place in Lisbon. Since 2007, it welcomed some of the greatest musicians of all time, as well as up-and-coming talents in a mix of rock, alternative, electronic, pop, and indie music.
2022 Lineup: Metallica, The Strokes, Imagine Dragons, Da Weasel, Faith No More, Royal Blood, Alt-J, St. Vincent, Caribou and Phoebe Bridgers.
Where and when: West of Lisbon from 6 to 9 July 2022.
Lisbon will be asked again a few days later to jump with the Super Bock Super Rock, which is also one of the most acclaimed and popular events. Consider that the inaugural edition took place 25 years ago and that it continues to feature hip hop, indie, multi-genre, and rock performers.

Where and when: South of Lisbon, July 14-16, 2022.

Festivals in England
We fly to England, the cradle of music and some of the world's most famous bands.
Every year on successive weekends in London, the Wireless Festival brings together the kings of rap, hip hop, and urban music on stage.

Where and when: London 1-3 July and 8-10 July.
Also in London, All Points East, which debuted in 2018 and has quickly established itself as a must-see event.

Festivals in Scotland
Scotland also hosts a number of exciting events and festivals that are not to be missed.
The most popular is the Fringe Festival, which is the world's largest festival dedicated to the performing arts. There is not only music, but also theatre and dance shows, as well as events of all kinds, for a total of thousands of individual or group performances.
Where and when: in Edinburgh from 5 to 29 August 2022.
The Scottish capital also hosts many other festivals: the International Science Festival, the Jazz & Blues Festival, the Art Festival, the International Book Festival, and the International Film Festival.
